Recently unveiled, The Gallery ranks as the premier upscale dining destination in Ballantyne. The essence of the restaurant concept, which offers a classic yet contemporary take on American cuisine, is inspired by hotel owner Mrs. Sara Harris Bissell’s love for collecting fine artwork from around the world and combining it with inspired regional fare. Partnering with local farmers to use only the freshest ingredients, Executive Chef Kirk Gilbert has skillfully created an indigenous menu that will satiate even the most discriminating palate, with flavorful dishes ranging from steakhouse influenced entrées such as Braised Kobe Beef Shortribs to lighter bistro style fare such as Sautéed Mediterranean Sea Bass. The restaurant experience is enhanced by the discreet and personalized service for which Ballantyne Resort is known.

Complementing the restaurant is a luxurious European-style bar, whose chic ambience is reflected in the dark mahogany walls, rustic hard wood floors, and custom-made banquettes and bar stools decked out in British racing green leather. The focal point is a white onyx bar displaying top shelf liquors and an extensive wine collection, plus a 50” plasma TV to watch sporting events. In addition to an array of spirits, the bar is home to one of North Carolina’s most prestigious collections of Single Malt Scotches, including some of the rarest from the collections of MaCallan, Glenfiddich, Glenlivet, and Glenmorangie. In addition to spirits, you can order from a casual menu of Southern inspired small plates and traditional Spanish tapas, as well as comfort food favorites. The bar is an ideal venue for a variety of hosting opportunities, from enjoying a cold beverage after a round of golf or conducting a business deal to watching a sporting event or gathering a wedding party before the reception.
